EXP2 initial considerations of circulation and the building


I have chosen this form as the circulation for my school. The form connects the squarehouse to the block house and has an entrance from the ground plane in the clearing. The form allows space for the fig tree located near the squarehouse through the rectangular form on the left. The part overhanging the road has been made high enough such that it doesnt impede the new light rail. I connected these two buildings as I believe that the buildings used for learning and academia should remain separate from the lifestyle buildings (aquatic centre and gym, and the roundhouse).

The form also provides areas which would suit a moving element. The large rectangular block on the right faces towards the main walkway, and hence could showcase a provoking moving element to onlookers.
